Lectures
We meet monthly from September to July for lectures on a wide range of topics covering all of the arts from experienced and highly qualified lecturers who are experts in their chosen field. Lectures are held in the Crosfield Hall, usually on the first Tuesday of the month, at 11.00am.
We welcome guests who cannot commit to the whole programme and wish to attend individual lectures. There is no need to book if you wish to come as a guest – just turn up (allowing time to park & sign in). Be assured of a warm welcome.

Visits
In the past we have made three visits per session.
We are currently looking for new committee members so that these activities can be recommenced.
We do attempt to keep journey times on visits to a minimum, but it is inevitable that we are travelling increasing distances in order to avoid repetition.
Your suggestions for future visits are always welcome. Our future programme already reflects your input but please be aware that we plan between one and two years ahead. Please contact info@theartssocietyromsey.org.uk with any suggestions.
Study Days (also known as Speccial Interest Days)
These events provide the opportunity to examine a particular subject in more detail. They compose of two lectures in the morning and one in the afternoon with lunch served during the interval. Again we are looking for additional committee mebers to organise future events.
Study Days are also organised by the Area Team and are held in the Spring and November - usually in Winchester. Details of these events are posted on our website.
